This will eliminate all of the temporary walks, and re-establish permanent sidewalks from Watts to Interstate.
- The library construction team has returned, and is working on the exterior facade of the Kenton Branch Library site between N Kilpatrick and N McClellan.
West Side
- The contractor is completing continuous sidewalk on the west side of Denver from N Watts to N Kilpatrick.
Next Steps
- The contractor has arranged for street light pole placement to begin the week of January 18 along the east side of Denver. (Following the installation of street lights will be the decorative pavers along the curb.)
- The contractor also expects to start pouring concrete footings for the benches, and placing liners in the stormwater planters beginning the week of January 18.
Once the sidewalk through-zone has been completed along all of the block faces currently under construction, the contractor will proceed with demolition and reconstruction of last two existing sidewalk blocks. These last two blocks are on the west side of Denver between Kilpatrick and Willis. The contractor expects to begin demolition the week of January 18.
