Let’s Bring Heat to the Kenton Women’s Village!

The Kenton Women’s Village (KWV) is moving to its new home at 2420 N Columbia Blvd in January 2019, and the Portland Fire Marshall has designated special heaters that can be placed inside each pod at this new location. Since neighbors have shown such concern and compassion for KWV residents’ warmth and comfort during the cold season, members of the KNA Board would like to sponsor these new heaters.

Due to their specific certification, each heater costs approximately $180. The KWV will need 22 heaters in total to heat the pods and the common area, which totals $3,960. Andersen Construction has graciously committed to matching any funds raised, so the KNA only needs to raise $1,980 to provide heaters for the KWV.
